At 26 years old, I'm a young entrepreneur based in Oxnard, CA, with roots stretching from Los Angeles, CA, to Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico. Entrepreneurship has been in my blood since childhood, where I started selling candy, newspapers, and chips, instilling in me the belief that hard work yields great results. While my initial dream was to become a professional soccer player, injuries redirected my path.
I pursued higher education, earning my associate's degree in Business and Economics from Oxnard College and began working towards a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at CSUCI. However, feeling disconnected from the real-world business experience, I chose to leave before completing my final year, a decision that many questioned but felt right for me.
At that juncture, I found myself juggling multiple roles – not only was I a school bus driver for the Ventura Unified School District, but I also embarked on a collaborative venture with my mother, founding the bartending business known as Estrellas Bartenders.
Under the banner of Cantina Alegre, we began our journey from modest beginnings, catering to small events and gatherings. However, our dedication and perseverance soon paid off as we secured bookings for events across California, spanning different states, and even extending our services to certain regions of Mexico. This growth marked a significant milestone in our entrepreneurial journey, propelling Cantina Alegre to new heights and establishing our presence in the hospitality industry.
In January 2021, I ventured into the realms of digital entrepreneurship, day trading, investing, and network marketing, despite having no prior experience in these fields. It was a leap of faith, driven by the belief that these avenues held the potential to transform my life. At that juncture, I resided in a modest studio apartment, with my days consumed by the demands of my 9-5 job and managing my bartending business, with weekends serving as a brief respite for leisure.
Over the ensuing two years, I remained consistant and coachable to the guidance of my mentors, diligently honing my skills and expanding my knowledge base. This dedication eventually bore fruit as I bid farewell to my 9-5 job and made the decision to divest from the bartending business.
Since November 2023, I've transitioned into full-time digital entrepreneurship, affording me the freedom to prioritize quality time with my family.
With newfound financial stability, I secured an apartment for my mother and grandmother, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
This shift has not only allowed me to cherish moments with loved ones but has also granted me the flexibility to indulge in travel, unencumbered by the constraints of a conventional job. It's a testament to the transformative power of perseverance, adaptability, and seizing opportunities that lie beyond one's comfort zone.
My mom and grandma are the ones that have been pushing me and supporting me since day one. I was able to get us an apartment in June of 2022, and I can't wait to get them their house and have them travel around the world.
Is to IMPACT people around the world, and show what's possible.
And most importantly to inform, educate and Inspire people to reach their goals.
